Exciting things are happening in our Barnabas ministry.
Good news - Anne’s health is better and we are enjoying life together.
Good news - Experienced a wonderful time as pastor for a season at Crossgates Baptist in Brandon, MS from May to December 30, 2007.
Good news - To my surprise (understatement) God has called me to start a new church (at 70 years old) in Mobile, Alabama. Named “Luke 4:18 Fellowship”, it will have its first official service at Davidson High School auditorium at 10:15 on January 6, 2008. It is awesome how God spoke to me and has led me every step of the way in this new ministry -- I will keep you informed.
 I am not scheduling any revivals or Barnabas weekends in 2008 as all of my time and effort will be devoted to the new church.
Pray for us that He will lead in all decisions as we seek to be a new testament church in every way.

PS: Recently celebrated my 70th birthday with pastor, missionaries and staff members called out of Cottage Hill Baptist in Mobile from 1972 - 1997. We had between 50 and 60 attend. Two days of great fellowship -- a real blessing.
